The group has now had its first couples of meetings.  These have primarily been to establish the goals and purpose of the group.

As time progresses, we will ensure that news from the group is published on this page.

The members of the group are

Patient representatives

Mr Derek Pratley - Chair

Mrs Liz Lacey - Joint Secretary

Mrs Linda Ferrier - Joint Secretary

Mrs Issy Needham

Mrs Ann Snowden

Mrs Lisa Gimenez-Codd

Practice representatives

Mrs Allison Cook - Practice Manager

The group will also be joined by one of the GP partners at each of the meetings

The main purposes of the group is to help the practice to ensure that they have a representative view of the patients when making future decisions.  It is also hoped that the group will be able to assist the Practice in promoting new services and help with communicating the many changes happening in the health service.

The group is not, and will not, be used as a forum for complaints.  The whole ethos of the group is for it to become a positive addition to the Practice.

We would ask therefore that any complaints regarding the Practice be addressed in writing to the Practice Manager in accordance with the Practice complaints procedure.
